Multi-Generational is an additional living space for a guest of the homeowner's to live in. This space would include a second master with an ensuite and may include a separate kitchen and living space within the house plan to be included in the household whilst allowing the guest privacy. A Mother-In-Law's Suite is also known as having a Multi-Generational home. This house plan comes in many styles as well as could be a ranch house plan with a main and lower level master suite or a 1.5 or Two-Story house plan with a master on the main and second floor of the home. If the square footage allows, this could be two master suites on the same floor on either end of a ranch house plan sharing common spaces.
